Clone Aqualung Series

Clone Aqualung is a sublabel of the renowned Dutch imprint Clone Records, curated with a focus on electro, experimental electronics, and reissues of rare or influential works in the genre. Launched as part of Clone’s multifaceted label structure, Aqualung explores the deeper and more cerebral side of electro, often touching on dystopian themes, synthetic atmospheres, and intricate machine rhythms. The imprint is known for issuing music from key figures such as Gerald Donald (of Drexciya, Arpanet, and Dopplereffekt fame), as well as for unearthing cult classics from the archives of Detroit and European electro scenes. Releases on Clone Aqualung are characterized by their sharp production quality, archival depth, and a commitment to preserving the legacy of futuristic, science fiction-inspired electronic music.
