Soreab

Soreab is the alias of Dario Picchi, an Italian-born, London-based producer and DJ known for his genre-blurring approach to electronic music. His sound merges UK bass, dub, techno, and broken rhythms, with an emphasis on deep percussion, spatial design, and abstract narrative structures.

As co-founder of the Baroque Sunburst label alongside Big Hands, Soreab has carved out a space for experimental and bass-heavy music that sits at the fringes of the club world. The label has become known for its conceptual depth and sonic innovation, often tying releases to broader themes of identity, mythology, and cultural movement.

Soreab’s solo releases—including Maschera, Muğla’s Chronicles, and Sensitivity 6.0—demonstrate his flair for building immersive sonic environments rooted in rhythmic complexity. His tracks are layered with subtle textures, echoing dub traditions while exploring forward-thinking production techniques.

His collaborative work with artists like Om Unit further showcases his versatility, creating dense, bass-driven compositions that are as suited for introspective listening as they are for dancefloor impact. Whether working solo or in partnership, Soreab continues to challenge conventions and contribute a distinct voice to the UK’s experimental electronic scene.
