Exquisite Corpse

Exquisite Corpse is a seminal electronic music project founded by Dutch producer Robbert Heynen, known for his work with Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia. Initially a solo endeavor, the project evolved into a duo in 1993 with the addition of Debbie Jones, also known as DJ Venus. Together, they released music under the stylized name eXquisite CORpsE.

Their sound is characterized by a fusion of ambient techno, tribal rhythms, and trance elements, creating immersive and hypnotic compositions. Notable releases include:

• Dream Night Dance Music (1992): Their debut album, blending downtempo grooves with ambient textures.
• Inner Light (1993): A darker, tribal-infused ambient techno album, featuring tracks like “Calling the Quarters” and “Between Worlds”
