Berceuse Heroique

Berceuse Heroique is a London-based record label founded around 2013 by the enigmatic figure known as Giz (ΚΕΜΑL). The label is known for its bold and uncompromising vision, releasing experimental techno, dub-influenced rhythms, industrial textures, raw disco edits, and off-grid electronic explorations. Its aesthetic leans toward minimalism and mystique, with many releases issued as white labels, hand-stamped pressings, or adorned with stark, provocative artwork.

The label has introduced or championed a wide range of forward-thinking artists, including Ekman, MGUN, Hodge, Jay Glass Dubs, Koehler, Ossia, Black Merlin, Don’t DJ, and Duckett. It also gained attention for resurfacing rare dubstep tracks and obscure dancefloor cuts that resonate with sound system culture and left-field club environments.

In addition to its main output, Berceuse Heroique has launched sub-series such as Ancient Monarchy, Herskull, The Brasserie Heroique Edits, and ΚΕΜΑL, further expanding its experimental and archival reach. Releases are often pressed on heavyweight vinyl and produced in limited quantities, appealing to DJs and collectors seeking music outside of conventional trends.

Berceuse Heroique maintains a fiercely independent identity—celebrated for its sonic risk-taking, deep cultural references, and resistance to commercial compromise. It has become a trusted outlet for those seeking adventurous, politically conscious, and genre-defying electronic music.
