Anthony Naples

Anthony Naples is a New York City-based producer, DJ, and label owner known for his eclectic and genre-blurring contributions to contemporary electronic music. Since his breakout in 2012 with the track “Mad Disrespect,” Naples has carved a distinctive path through house, techno, ambient, and experimental sounds, often blending them into a uniquely personal style.

His debut album, Body Pill (2015), released on Four Tet’s Text Records, signaled a shift from his club-oriented roots toward more introspective and textured compositions. This exploration continued with Take Me With You (2018), an ambient-leaning album that showcased his ability to craft immersive soundscapes. In Fog FM (2019), Naples returned to dancefloor sensibilities, infusing his tracks with a hazy, atmospheric quality that bridged the gap between club energy and home listening. His subsequent albums, Chameleon (2021) and Orbs (2023), further expanded his sonic palette, incorporating elements of post-punk, dub, and shoegaze to create richly layered and emotive works.

Beyond his solo projects, Naples co-founded the label Incienso, which has become a platform for innovative electronic music, releasing works by artists like DJ Python and Huerco S. He also previously ran the Proibito label, known for its forward-thinking releases in the underground scene.

As a DJ, Naples has performed at renowned venues worldwide, including Berghain’s Panorama Bar and London’s Fabric, and maintains a residency at New York’s Nowadays. His sets are celebrated for their adventurous selections and seamless blending of diverse genres, reflecting his broad musical influences and commitment to pushing boundaries.
