Phylyps Trak II, originally released in 1994, is a seminal EP by German duo Basic Channel, comprising Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald. The record features two tracks: “Phylyps Trak II/I” and “Phylyps Trak II/II.” The A-side delivers a dense, dub-infused techno groove with layered textures and rhythmic complexity, while the B-side offers a more stripped-down, hypnotic minimalism.
