This self-titled album is a collaboration between German electronic music producer Moritz von Oswald and Ordo Sakhna, a musical collective from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to preserving traditional Kyrgyz music. Released on October 27, 2017, by Honest Jon’s Records, the album blends traditional Kyrgyz instruments and melodies with dub-influenced electronic production. The result is a fusion of haunting acapella vocals, virtuosic instrumentation, and sublime, dub-wise panoramas.
