Acting Crazy
Acting Crazy is a 12″ EP released in 1995 on Main Street Records (catalog number MSR-06), a sublabel of Basic Channel. The record features three tracks: “Acting Crazy (Club Vocal),” “Acting Crazy (Instrumental),” and “Acting Crazy (Edit).” This release is the third installment in the “Round” series, following previous collaborations between Mark Ernestus, Moritz von Oswald, and Paul St. Hilaire (also known as Tikiman). The EP exemplifies the fusion of dub reggae and minimalist techno, characterized by deep basslines, sparse rhythms, and atmospheric textures. The 2025 reissue maintains the original’s sonic integrity, reaffirming its status as a seminal work in the dub techno genre.
