Q-Loop is a 12″ EP by German duo Basic Channel, originally released in 1995. The EP features three tracks: “Q-Loop (Full Length),” “Q1.2,” and “Mutism.” The title track, presented in its full 13:54-minute version, showcases the duo’s signature blend of minimal techno and dub-influenced soundscapes, characterized by deep, immersive loops and subtle sonic shifts. The B-side tracks, “Q1.2” and “Mutism,” were previously available only on the CD compilation BCD (1995) and make their vinyl debut with this release. The latest reissue, released in May 2025, maintains the original mastering and packaging, preserving the EP’s influence on the evolution of electronic music.
