No Partial is a 10″ vinyl release by Rhythm & Sound, the Berlin-based duo of Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald. First issued in 2001 on the UK label PK as the B-side to Higher Field Marshall, the track distills their signature dub techno aesthetic—deep sub-bass, sparse rhythms, and spacious delay processing—into a minimal yet potent piece. The record has been repressed several times over the years, most recently in 2023, always retaining its raw, hand-stamped presentation.
The PK label, short for Pressure Klassics, is based in the UK and focuses on bridging dub reggae and experimental electronic music. Rhythm & Sound’s collaboration with PK for this release reflects a natural alignment of styles and philosophies, merging the Berlin duo’s stripped-down sound system minimalism with the UK’s deep-rooted dub culture. No Partial stands as a quietly influential artifact from this transatlantic exchange.
